Exports to major markets rose sharply — the US (+58%), China (+49%) and at least +17% to other key partners. Imports rose 36% to RM171.14 billion, led by capital goods (+24%) and intermediate goods (+40%); consumption goods imports climbed 5.2%. The trade surplus widened to RM22.46 billion, up 52% year-on-year.
